Our tire blew out today on I-94 by Kalamazoo, MI. McDonald's Towing was able to quickly send out a flatbed tow truck to move our car to Belle Tires. Their driver William was great! He was very positive, jolly and efficient and their dispatcher was also great to deal with when we were giving our location.

A guy unlocking a car off river st today was incredibly rude and just blocked the road so no cars could get around. Could've easily done what he was doing without blocking it. Told me he didn't care if I left a bad review so here ya go.

Will was the absolute best in a very stressful and scary situation after an accident. Will talked me thru exactly what was happening, what to expect moving forward and kept me calm and informed. The next day he met me at the lot to allow me to retrieve the items out of the totaled car, and he also helped carry and load up my car with the things. He was very compassionate knowing the situation was emotional.

I was driving to Detroit area from ILLINOIS. Car broke down on 1-94. Called a Firestone in Kalamazoo and they recommended McDonald to tow my car. It was a four hour wait but was told would be two. But I understand as it was Friday night and many accidents on 94 and those are first priority. When I called a few times they were helpful and expressed my concern to have to stay overnight and find and a get to a hotel. When the tow driver came the dispatcher told him my concerns and he said they found me a decent priced hotel and the driver of the tow truck took me to Econo lodge and it was ok but I was so thankful to have a place to stay and the driver and dispatcher helped me find that and he drove me there as I had no car and had luggage. The next day my car was fixed. I think the tow driver was named Eric, not sure, it appears to be that on the bill, he was helpful and caring and o appreciate that. I was stranded in a town I didnβt know. Back 35 years ago I lived one hour from KZOO, but I am not familiar with the town now. It was so cold outside for May 1. The bill included mileage of four miles tow and $19 for fuel - it seems high but I guess diesel is $ now recently $6-7 a gal.

My vehicle was stolen and ended up in a McDonald's lot. Paid the fee. Went to the lot. Waited 20 mins. Was told there was a driver 9 miles away who would be here shortly. Waited 30 minutes, called again. Driver will be there shortly. Waited 30 minutes, someone else showed up and called, driver will be there shortly. My vehicle is being held hostage and I not only did nothing wrong, I had to pay them nearly $300 to sit at a lot. Edit: I was very angry when I wrote this, but one-star review is not fair review. Circumstances beyond their control were the cause of the delays, and the driver eventually arrived and he was both courteous and helpful (and even gave me some actionable advice). I am still upset that I waited so long. I'm also upset that I had to provide exact change in cash (which included $281.10, so if I had to get all the money from an ATM that only dispenses $20's, I would have been forced to overpay $18.90, which I'm sure is part of the business model). Given the totality of circumstances, I'll amend to a three-star review. I don't think there's a BETTER tow company around. Being the best option and being good are two completely separate things. Edit 2: I do genuin
